Last Wednesday we had a very nice day on the lake. We were 4 sailors that crossed over to the other shore from San Juan Cosala with little wind, but with no waves which made us cruise around 5 knots. We sailed back on one tack all the way to Ajijic where we docked and had a cool beer on the peer. One of our crew members decided to not come back with us, and that was a big mistake since it turned out to be the best part. The Spinnaker was flying all the way home and created a nice big shade over the entire boat. Still just a soft breeze, but it was enough to move us at a steady speed and perfect for relaxed sailing with some music. Karen was at the helm almost all the way.
