And it’s also about Lake Chapala which is surrounded by majestic mountains and an exotic nature. One of the best climates on this planet and a rich cultural heritage makes it a true paradise! It’s easy to understand why everybody loves lakeside living, this is only our reasons and perspective;
Now when the lake is back, the water activities are great! Imagine you’re in the middle of the lake on a sunny day, the boat has a nice heel and the sails are filled, pulling you forcefully forward. The only sound you here comes from the wind, waves and the cheers from your friends.
The best view is without a doubt from the air. It’s from cloud base and above the mountaintops that you see how everything is really connected. Flying in a Paraglider, silently gliding above the intricate ravines and waterfalls, occasionally catching a thermal together with birds of prey is a perfect escapism and the best way to see the beautiful geography of Lake Chapala.
The mountains around Lake Chapala are filled with trails and often shared by hikers, bikers, horses, donkeys and even some wildlife. Just strap on some shoes, head up the hills and you’re guaranteed a little adventure, but there is no limit to the excitement that you can get on a modern bicycle in the mountains. We love this area and the multitude of outdoor activities it has to offer.
