Catamaran

Hobie Alter developed his first prototype of a fast, lightweight boat, based on the Polynesian twin hulled catamaran, in the late 60’s. Since then, Hobiecats have become one of the most used sailboats in the World.

Sailing a catamaran could be described as driving a race car; it’s fast, responsive and incredibly fun. Thanks to the slim aquadynamics of the hull, there’s less resistance thus giving more speed. And when one hull lifts above the surface, it feels like flying.
