We set sail around 9 o´clock and take advantage of the (catabatic) wind from the east in the mornings, the locals call it “El Mexicano”. It is very suitable for sailing and it is smoother and calmer than it’s more gusty (anabatic) brother “El Albajeño”. It normally ends around 1-2pm.
McGregor’s are easy and safe to operate and it has a retractable keel for getting close to the shores. Our boats are very well equipped with no less than 6 sails, navigational instruments, stove, stereo, and of course, safety gear like VHF radios, buoyancy aids and smoke signals
